Richard W. Littlehale is a supervisor in the Technical Services Unit of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Criminal Investigation Division. In addition to his duties as an investigative supervisor, he serves as an advisor and trainer in criminal law and procedure, and the Bureau’s Chief Firearms Instructor. He received his undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College in 1992, and his J.D. from Vanderbilt in 1995.

Littlehale served as the Treasurer of the NBA Young Lawyers Division in 2006, and the Treasurer of the NBA in 2009. He has contributed to YLD's Oyez! Newsletter and the Nashville Bar Journal, and is a Fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation. Rich is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association Leadership Law class of 2006. He is a frequent presenter to community organizations on ways to protect children online. His particular areas of interest within the Bar include outreach to lawyers with non-traditional practices, attracting young lawyers to public service, and engaging the legal community on better ways to protect children from victimization.
