John Park is a partner in the Labor & Employment group at Waller. He has advised and defended global and local employers at trial and appeal. His experience includes class and collective actions, whistleblower claims, investigations, compliance, and non-competition and trade secret issues. He has worked with clients in various industries including healthcare, financial services, retail, hospitality, and manufacturing. John has had articles placed in national HR publications and is often invited to speak on various labor and employment topics.

Park has been practicing in Nashville since 2006 after serving as a law clerk to Judge Randolph Baxter of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio. He received MBA and law degrees from the University of Notre Dame in 2002, and 2005, respectively, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998. As a co-chair of the NBA’s Minority Opportunities Committee, John’s bar activities center on advancing diversity in the legal profession. He is an active member of the Tennessee and National Asian Pacific American Bar Associations. John was selected as a Fellow to the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity and has mentored local law students through the LCLD mentorship program.
