LRIS serves as a bridge between the public and the legal community by assisting persons who have legal questions or need legal advice but do not know where to turn for a lawyer. Referrals can be made based on legal specialties or geography. Many problems can be solved without a lawyer. Nashville has many qualified service agencies that may be able to help you with a problem and we will be happy to refer you to one of them. But, if your problem is one that really requires a lawyer, we will help you find one.
The best way to find a lawyer for a particular legal problem is as easy as a phone call to the Nashville Bar Association's Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS).
The process is easy. Simply call the Lawyer Referral and Information Service at
(615) 242-6546 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, or fill out an online form to receive a referral via email. Our trained staff will help you identify the area of law involved in your problem and put you in contact with a lawyer who handles your type of case or inform you of other resources which may be of help to you.
