NBA Position on the Judicial Selection Process
Approved by the Board of Directors at their February 1, 2011 meeting:
The Nashville Bar Association favors the retention of the current merit selection and retention process for the courts of record in Tennessee because this process continues to ensure a fair and independent judiciary.
