Summary

As COVID-19 has closed Chancery Court to in-person hearings, the Court has begun hearing motions, injunction hearings and even bench trials via telephone and video-conference. Join this panel of judges and practitioners to hear how Chancery Court is utilizing technology in the courtroom during the pandemic; how to best prepare yourself and your clients for such hearings; how the Court is working to ensure public access to the hearings; lawyers’ and clients’ ethical obligations during these hearings; and predictions on how the pandemic may have long-lasting impact on business litigation.
