Summary

Research has shown that lawyers are not the most optimistic or resilient professionals. In the best of times, the skills that make us great lawyers do not help us when we need to overcome hard times —like right now. The good news is that we love to learn; we just need to believe in what we are being taught.

This seminar is designed to help lawyers understand how best to tap into a vein of optimism so that we can learn to develop with practice. Why is this vein of optimism so important? It is attractive. Attraction brings new opportunities, new clients, and new jobs at a time when most people are looking down. You are one of the few who is looking up, even now. This is not a seminar about how to just “be happy.” Instead, it is a course in understanding how a certain mindset can assist you in every aspect of your practice.
