All members of the Nashville legal community and their guests are invited!
The evening will feature live music, passed hors d'oeuvres and appetizers, and an open bar serving your favorite wine, beer, and cocktails. The dress code is black tie optional.
All proceeds benefit Nashville Children's Alliance and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), two local nonprofit organizations.
*Host ticket packages are comprised of two tickets to the event, recognition in event slideshow and various communications, and an additional charitable donation. YLD Board Members are strongly encouraged to participate.
Named after the infamous Carlill v. Carbolic Smoke Ball Co. case, the Carbolic Smoke Ball is the NBA Young Lawyer Division's annual cocktail and dance party fundraiser.

CASA Nashville serves some of the most vulnerable children in our community. These children are placed in foster care by the state because they are abused and neglected by those who are supposed to love and protect them. Our mission is to advocate for hope, healing, and permanency for these children by providing trained Volunteer Advocates to be their voice. Last year 193 Volunteer Advocate Champions were the one constant in a scary and uncertain time in 389 children’s lives.
Nashville Children's Alliance, founded in 1992, provides no-cost services to Nashville children who have experienced sexual or severe physical abuse. Such services include forensic interviews, therapy sessions, court support, and family crisis services.
The NBA Young Lawyers Division is seeking financial sponsorships for this benefit from regional and local law firms and businesses. The sponsorship levels will be announced.
Based on the level of sponsorship, each sponsor will (1) receive an allotted number of tickets to the event; (2) have their name and/or logo displayed on the online invitation and all promotional materials (name and/or logo size will be proportional to contribution level); (3) be recognized in the NBA Weekly Update and YLD Exclusive e-blasts, and other print and digital media throughout Middle Tennessee, and (4) be contacted prior to the event for names to be added to will call for pickup at the door.
