Contact with our Lawyer Referral and Information Service puts you in touch with a pre-screened lawyer with whom you may schedule an initial consultation for a $40 fee—instead of the lawyer's normal hourly fee. Note: Our LRIS staff need to make the referral manually after reviewing your submission, so the referral will not appear immediately after submitting the form.

The fee may be paid by debit or credit card by filling out the form below.

NOTE: The $40 fee is waived for personal injury, medical malpractice, and workers' compensation cases. (We do not currently have any LRIS attorneys for victim compensation and social security disability cases, but the $40 fees will be waived for those cases upon future availability as well.) Fees for additional services beyond the consultation are arranged between you and the lawyer.

1. To define the type of case, please select the "Primary Panel" then "Sub-Panel" that most closely matches your legal issue.

For example, if you are needing a lawyer to help you with a divorce and your spouse is contesting the divorce, you would select "Domestic" for the primary panel then "Divorce -Contested" for the sub-panel.

*Note: We do not currently have any attorneys that can represent tenants in eviction proceedings. If you are a tenant looking for legal representation, you may want to contact the Eviction Right to Counsel program for more information and to see if they can take your case. Their hotline is 833-837-HOME (833-837-4663), and they also have staff members at the housing court to assist with resources and legal advice.
