The Nashville Bar Association is committed to helping our members and the community in adapting, adjusting, and responding to issues we are facing because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The NBA’s efforts include:
- Providing updates on changing court procedures and rules in regular Courthouse News updates
- Providing our members with opportunities to provide essential pro bono legal services to those in our community who are most in need
- Sharing technology resources and tutorials
- Aiding our members in emotionally coping with the impact of the pandemic
- Providing opportunities for our members to be in fellowship with one another despite social distancing
- Providing resources to the Nashville community, including individuals and small businesses, for the legal issues created by the pandemic
- Providing lawyers with resources that may be helpful in assisting clients with legal problems
The NBA is a strong community of lawyers, judges, law students, paralegals, and other legal professionals who are coming together in unprecedented ways to overcome the challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic. Together we will be an even stronger NBA once we are able to be together, in person, again!
